Aquamat

I've purchased a Aquamat, last year. It was really really hard to mount it to the scooter. Driving with the mat was also not that funny as expected because the water flows above the mat so the mat is floating under water while driving...
Does somebody has information about it? Maybe I've mounted it wrong...
